Home sweet home!!  What a feeling to be back in PA.  Not to mention, our whole trip home was on the Great Allegheny Passage.  We really milked out our last days.  Since we did not want to rush home with some 100+ mile days, we took our time and did some great camping along the trail.  we got to camp atop Mount Savage, along the Casselman River, in Confluence, and along the Youghiogheny River.  While doing so, we got pretty good at cooking hotdogs fireside....email me for the technique!!

While in Confluence, we met Bill and Patty Metzger.  Bill is a map maker who does most of the maps for the trails in the Western PA area.  In addition, he is a wealth of knowledge on cycle touring, having logged many miles on his bike.  Thanks again to Bill and Patty for everything!

Perhaps the biggest thing to happen is PA, is that this is where the trip ended.  It felt great to see family and friends in Little Boston, our official finish line.  It also felt good to know that I would not have to bike again the next day!  We had a great picnic and just shared stories from the road.  It was a great ending to a great trip!
