 Georgia was a nice flat ride, finally!! We travelled through the Okeefenokee swamp area, where we were going to stay, but didn't, due to not having any food on us. We did not realize that this area would be such an attraction, so we were just not prepared, and when biking all the miles, food is more important than the sights at some times. We did get the chance to go through Savanna. Savanna offers some good ol' Southern charm. The buildings remind you of what it must have been like in the early 1800's in that area. We also got to sit in the Square where Forrest Gump sat waiting for the bus to go see Jennie! |
