Perhaps the ultimate
high was in Florida when we reached the Atlantic Ocean in St.
Augustine Beach! Seeing the Atlantic Ocean after traveling
so many miles was a feeling I will never forget. I had a
smile on my face that I just could not erase...It was such a
feeling of accomplishment!
Also, while in Florida, I got to visit with my Dad, who lives in Daytona. He showed us around Daytona, including taking us to the Daytona Speedway. Got some time to relax on the beach, and just relax after biking across a continent. While in Daytona, we also got to meet the one and only Joe Williams, who works with my Dad. Joe is an all around good guy and was fun to hang out with while in Daytona.
Having reached the Atlantic Ocean, the trip was not over yet! It was time to head north to Pittsburgh, PA
