 Cross Country and Then Some (March 1 06-June 17 06)

   -San Francisco to San Diego, then across through Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, to Florida.  Once in Florida, we headed north through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia to our Nations Capitol.  There we linked up with the C & O Canal carrying us through Maryland and leading us to the Great Allegheny Passage, which we followed to Pennsylvania and into Pittsburgh, PA.

Camping in the Allegheny National Forest (Oct 2006)

     -Pictures from a camping trip in the Allegheny National Forest (10/14/06).  Ryan, Mark, Presh, Roxy, and myself found a nice little spot in the woods, put up a tent, built a fire, and had good time!!!

Trek Around Pittsburgh (Nov 2006)

     -A very enjoyable ride going from Monroeville through Edgewood, Regent Square, Squirrel Hill, Oakland, Lawrenceville, the Strip District, Washington's landing to the Point before following the Mon through the South Side, Homestead, West Mifflin, Duquesne, and McKeesport, back to the Yough River Trail.

  Allegheny River Trail (Nov 2006)

     -It is always nice to ride on the Allegheny River Trail.  The miles of pavement provide a smooth ride as you flow along with the ricer.  Ryan, Matt, and my self did a 30 mile ride to the Kennerdel Tunnel and back.  It was a little cold on the banks of the river, but that is not enough to stop one from enjoying the ride!

Yough Trail Ride (Nov 2006-62 degrees)

     -62 degrees on November 25th in Western PA....are you kidding me!?!?!  You could not ask for nicer weather and I did not plan on missing out on enjoying the day.  The temperature was perfect and the scenery was magnificent.  You really get to see more of the contour of the land this time of the year.  Matt and I rode to West Newton and back....finishing in the first dark of the night.  A truly awesome ride!

  Pittman Wash Ride (Henderson, NV November 2007)

     -So any one who knows me is aware that I lived in Las Vegas (Henderson technically) for about 8 months or so.  Near where I lived, there was a nice, short bike trail called the Pittman Wash.  Yes, it was no Great Allegheny Passage, but it was nice for a ride every once in awhile!

  Red Rock Canyon (Las Vegas, NV December 2007)

  -Forget the casinos..forget the Hoover Dam...if your going to Vegas, you have to visit Red Rock Canyon...simply beautiful!!  Even better by bike, but a great place to go on a hike as well!
